YOUR LIFE AS A FLOORING WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER
As a Flooring Warehouse Operations Manager, you perform several major duties concerning project management, safety, and sales. As part of your construction project management duties, you take charge of the logistics of a job by ensuring that supplies are on hand and that equipment is properly maintained. You also conduct regular checks of job progress, help solve any issues, and coordinate the housing and transportation details for out-of-town jobs.
You're a strong leader and provide a regular presence on job sites. Because you know a bit about everything, you are a point of contact for the sales team and a resource for troubleshooting and problem-solving. You also accompany sales reps on pre-job walkthroughs and keep track of up-sell projects.
Using your excellent leadership skills, you also cultivate and support a strong company safety culture. You coordinate the implementation of safe work practices with our installation teams as well as facilitate and document regular crew safety meetings. As you do, you take pride in how smoothly our projects run. The results we produce are top-notch, and you feel great as you see how over the moon our customers are with the excellent work we produce!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Construction management or sales experience
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite, basic software programs, and email
- OSHA 10 certification OR a willingness to obtain it within 3 months
- CPR certification OR a willingness to obtain it within 3 months

Education: 4-year degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.

Relevant work experience can be substituted and/or work experience: Construction management

Demonstrated ability to manage 10-15 people, 2–3 crews
